5 Week Hypnobirthing Course

About Your Host

Hi, I’m Lucy — mum of three and a qualified HypnoBirthing® Educator based near Guildford.

After many years working in international HR, I chose to follow my passion for pregnancy and birth support.

My own HypnoBirthing journey was truly transformative and played a huge role in my first birth. That experience inspired me to support other women and birth partners to feel informed, calm and confident as they prepare to meet their babies.

Today, I teach practical, evidence-based tools that help you understand how the body works in labour, reduce fear, and approach birth feeling empowered and supported.

I offer both private HypnoBirthing classes and intimate group courses, with no more than three couples per group, ensuring a calm, personal and supportive experience.

Course structure

  • 5 sessions
  • Total of 12.5 hours
  • Each session lasts approximately 2.5 hours
  • Classes are spaced at least one week apart, allowing time to practise and integrate each technique

• How the uterus works
• Understanding the fear–tension cycle

Week 2

• Prenatal bonding
• Preparing the body and mind for birth

Week 3

• Getting ready to meet your baby
• Birth preferences and birth planning

Week 4

• The process of labour
• What happens during birth

Week 5

•The final stage of labour
• The magical first hour after birth
• Introduction to breastfeeding

Throughout the course, you’ll also learn relaxation techniques and breathing practices to support you through labour and birth.

Fees

£330 per couple – intimate group course (maximum of 3 couples)
£600 per couple – private HypnoBirthing course

While NHS antenatal classes are invaluable, this course offers far more depth, time, personal support and practical tools to help you feel genuinely prepared and confident for birth.
