About Yoga
Yoga is more than just movement; it’s a journey shared with like-minded people in a supportive and nurturing environment. At My Ashram Yoga, you’ll find small, friendly groups where you can connect, grow, and be encouraged in your practice. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, you will feel safe, supported, and inspired every step of the way.
With years of experience and a deep passion for yoga, I bring a holistic approach to every class. I am a Yoga Alliance-certified instructor in Hatha, Prenatal, Postnatal, and Mother & Baby Yoga. My goal is to help you transform your body, mind, and spirit through asanas, pranayama, and meditation, guiding you toward balance and inner strength.
Yoga is not just about flexibility—it’s about creating balance in your life. My classes are designed to align your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Whether you seek relaxation, strength, or preparation for childbirth, each session is structured to help you achieve your personal goals with intention and mindfulness.
What is Yoga
Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘yuk’ meaning ‘union’ or ‘yoke’. It implies harmony and balance between all aspects of creation and within ourselves.
Yoga unites the body, mind, spirit and universe and challenges your behaviour patterns and attitude.
When you give time to your yoga practice, meditation and breath you create a direct link to Prana, your life force.
The more you experience, the more you grow and start to realise your true nature and the peace and happiness that comes with it.
