We spend so much of our time in shoes and socks that we are forgetting to let our feet really stretch out and feel the ground that is beneath them.
Being In Covid Lockdown has meant I have spent more time than ever walking around the garden and house barefoot, and not only has my yoga balance postures got more stable but my crooked toes have straightened out and I have gone up a whole foot size!
I have wanted to start to growing my own vegetables for ages and at last an
opportunity came…..follow my tips and avoid my mistakes!!

The phrase “you are what you eat” is very well known, but did you know that you are also what you digest and absorb? Ingestion, inhalation and absorption are the three ways that these hazardous substances may enter the body.
Cancer now affects 1 in 2 of us and if I can make a little difference to the amount of harmful chemicals that my family are in contact with then I will.

To Deter Moles
Moles seem to love our garden, and I love the moles! Our cats regularly bring them in for us, they don’t ever eat them luckily, and we are left to gently catch them and re dig a hole for them to burrow underground again. They are seriously the cutest little animals, a thick back velvety coat and large front paws.

It means shops are awash with products calling themselves “organic”, even if only a very small percentage of a product’s ingredients were organically farmed.

The higher the temperature you cook in, the more aluminium leaches into your food. Acidic foods and spices can also make the aluminium leach into your food. Aluminium doesn’t seem to leach if you use the foil just to wrap food but I prefer not to take the risk!
